Production helper (gn) Long-term employment

Gi Group is an international staffing agency with more than 500 locations in 40 countries. 

Your Tasks

• Preparing anode rods and fitting them with new carbon anodes
• Correctly slinging and securing the heavy anodes for crane transport
• Monitoring the automated assembly and casting stations
• Cleaning and maintaining the contact surfaces on the anode rods
• Removing and sorting spent anode butts
• Quality checks on the finished anode assemblies before they go into electrolysis
• Following strict safety rules when moving heavy loads

Your Profile

• Successfully completed technical vocational training, ideally as a machine and plant operator, or an equivalent qualification
• Relevant professional experience in operating and setting up production equipment, preferably in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry
• Sound knowledge of GMP guidelines and high quality and hygiene standards
• Willingness to work shifts (e.g. early and late shifts)
• A careful, structured approach to documenting production processes
• Strong awareness of health and safety at work, plus the technical understanding to troubleshoot faults
• Team spirit and reliability for smooth collaboration in production
• Good written and spoken German

• Payment according to the collective agreement with an hourly wage starting from 19.00 € gross per hour
